NCDEX Daily Report: Maize gains, Turmeric hit lower circuit

Turmeric May has fallen 3.99% to 5830 Rs/qtl. Weather concerns over Southern region have impacted prices. June declined 3.98% to 5932 Rs/qtl and July declined 3.97% to 6040.

Chana May rose to 0.80% to 3400 Rs/qtl. Chana June contract has gained 0.67% to 3481.

Turmeric May has fallen 3.99% to 5830 Rs/qtl. Weather concerns over Southern region have impacted prices. June declined 3.98% to 5932 Rs/qtl and July declined 3.97% to 6040.

Red Chilli June has fallen to 3.97% to 5568 Rs/qtl at 04.33 pm IST. Selling pressure and inadequate volumes have impacted chilli prices. June declined to 3.97% to 5702 Rs/qtl.

Coriander May has fallen to 1.19% to 6373 Rs/qtl

MCX Silver slugs on weak global cues

 Silver prices at India’s Multi Commodities Exchange (MCX) witnessed a negative phenomenon. The July Contract is now trading around Rs 44429-45031 per kg levels.

On Tuesday trade, silver June contract rose to a high of 45031 Rs/kg at 03.09 pm IST and is expected to trade bearish in later session. For intra-day, support is now seen at 44300, 44100 levels and resistance at 45516 & 45900, analyst said.

In the evening session, Outlook on COMEX markets and international demand may reflect current prices. We expect MCX Silver to trade on negative note.
